Anxiety and confusion regarding a workers compensation claim and the rehabilitation process often present barriers to rapid return to work. The Worker/Employee Rehabilitation Hotline is a telephone “counselling” service, designed to be independent of the rehabilitation case management process to relieve tension and anxiety and minimise workplace disputes.
The ultimate tool in “early intervention” the Hotline provides the injured worker, or stakeholders in the workplace, with an opportunity to discuss their concerns. Our registered psychologists and experienced rehabilitation consultants are then able to reduce or remove barriers before the rehabilitation process has fully commenced. The service may also be useful during the life of a workers compensation claim.
Access to the Hotline may be provided by the referring agent or the workplace, with counselling charges billed accordingly.
